The Book about Blockchain
C-level executives, consultants, strategists are wondering how to participate in the blockchain economy. They are wondering if new business models that will emerge because of this novel technology disrupt theirs. Or, the technology will ignore their businesses and create completely different models. In this book, I answer all those questions. By the time you finish the book, you will understand what blockchain economy is, how to participate in it, and prevent from being disrupted or worse ignored. Drawing from my own experiences as research scientist and an entrepreneur, the book describes methods to transform existing business by using digitized trust that is industrialized at scale.
About Author
Rajat Rajbhandari is a co-founder, CIO, and board member of dexFreight Inc., a US based startup in blockchain and logistics space. Besides fiduciary responsibilities as a co-founder, Dr. Rajbhandari defines strategies and leads teams for the company’s product design and implementation, including use of blockchain protocols, tokenization, smart contracts, and machine learning. He is a frequent speaker about deploying blockchain technology in supply chain at conferences around the world and has been interviewed by Wall Street Journal, International Business Times, Supply Chain Executive, and more. Dr. Rajbhandari also lead our special projects such as design and implementation of first Latin America wide blockchain powered port community system for the Port of Veracruz, Mexico. Prior to dexFreight, he spent over a decade at Texas A&M University in various positions as a research engineer. Dr. Rajbhandari designed, analyzed, and built systems related to intelligent highway systems, connected vehicle design, freight monitoring systems at the nation’s borders. He has published several peer reviewed papers. He holds a doctorate degree in transportation systems and lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, two kids, and a dog.
